Danny,
before his
smile makeover. He wanted to correct the smile line and mis-match
of the lengths of the front
teeth, the crowding, the dark color at the gum line of his teeth. Danny
was confident in the results and decided to do all of his work in as few
a number of visits as possible. We did his upper and lower
reconstruction on the same day. |

Danny and his bright
new smile ! Most of his treatment was completed in just one main visit.
His son told him on the day he did most of this work, "Dad, this is the
best Father's Day present you have ever had!"

Danny
before his smile analysis and bite/smile makeover. He wanted the
uneven heights of the upper and lower teeth corrected so that his new smile would be balanced and attractive.
He wanted the color
whiter, the shape of the chipped and worn teeth more natural in shape
also. |

Danny
after his smile makeover showing a straighter, much more pleasing
smile line, a incisal edge position that was less of a distraction and a
symmetry between the top and bottom teeth, plus, a more even length of the top teeth. |
|

Now, Danny has a full set of teeth in the upper arch of uniform color
and smoothness. No longer does he have to put up with rough, broken
fillings.
The restoration of the edges of the front teeth to normal was
accomplished with full porcelain 360 degree crowns. As a
result we have confidence that the
new bite will be comfortable, durable and stable. His molars and
bicuspids are also strengthened with the new zirconium all porcelain
crowns. |
|

Especially troubling for Danny was the old amalgam silver mercury
fillings, the broken and decayed teeth in the back of his mouth. One
thing that Danny was most concerned about was the difference in
color of his natural teeth and his older crowns. As he had placed the
old crowns in years before, the natural teeth had darkened considerably.
He wanted a better match. |

Missing teeth is the
major problem on the lower arch for Danny. |

All porcelain Zirconium
bridges are the answer for him. They are strong yet esthetic. |

Before treatment
he had overlapped central incisors of unequal length, an altered smile
line, and visible missing teeth. |

After Treatment Completed
Notice that the upper front teeth are ideally aligned after the crowns are
placed. |
|

The goal to achieve was
: Straight, White Teeth - Great Smile - Great Bite
"For superior
aesthetic results, all porcelain restorations in the anterior segment of
the mouth can't be beat. In the posterior tooth area, porcelain to metal
crowns and bridges are still the strongest way to go."
Bill Williams,
DMD, MAGD, MICCMO |

After Treatment: Very Nice Look
Replacing missing teeth is
one of the most important aspects of complete dentistry. A spoke missing
from a wheel will eventually lead to a broken wheel. Likewise, in
dentistry, a missing tooth leads to collapse of the dental bite and the
resulting destruction of the entire dental complex...even leading to TMJ
and headache problems.
