Diane's Lovely Smile Makeover
Testimonial

Diane Garrison before completion of her smile makeover. She wanted here smile to look more elegant

"I love my gorgeous new smile! Its a blessing to have all this done in such a short time, thanks to Dr. Williams"

This photo taken after her crown lengthening gum surgery but before her old crowns were replaced shows the elevation of the occlusal plane upwards on her left side.

Her  new smile makeover lets her smile bigger, with more confidence. Best of all its now straight and level, brighter and all of the teeth are more ideally aligned.

The lovely smile makes a statement of confidence, drama and elegance.

When we diagnosed the situation she had, one of the main things we emphasized was the excess gum tissue over the front teeth and the altered and asymmetrical gingival levels.

When she opened a bit the severe wear of the lower incisors is visible and their uneven appearance. This was what she wanted fixed also.

Pretreatment look at the upper arch showing the crowding of the lateral incisor which dominated the look of the front teeth.

The upper teeth after reconstruction were straight and much more attractive.

Her lower posterior teeth had actually been restored a few years earlier at our practice.

We completed the work on the lower arch after correcting the gum levels.

Before Treatment

Before surgery and the new anterior crowns.

After surgery and after the new crowns.

Notice the wear on the lower teeth from the porcelain crowns above. This is common when only one arch is restored. Most porcelain wears tooth enamel rapidly.

After surgery and new crowns, the porcelain against porcelain is more compatible and more stable than porcelain against natural tooth structure.

In this view you can see how much of the excess gum tissue was moved or removed on both the top and bottom front teeth. Now Diane can have normal shape and size teeth of correct proportions.

A wonderful result for a wonderful lady. Her bite is now stable, comfortable and beautiful.

Dr. Williams and Diane are proud of
 her new smile!

Diane is Director of the Counseling Center of the Haven Of Hope at Sugar Hill United Methodist Church and is actively engaged in prayer ministry and Christian counseling.
