Lending a Helping Hand to Our African Brothers

Dr. Bill Williams leads the dental corps to build the dental clinic and serve the needs of the local population of 30,000 that surround the clinic in Olmekenyu.

They heard about the dental clinic  in Morijo and they came, 
often from 10 or 20 km they walked to get to the clinic.

The second dental clinic in Morijo was held at this medical office. We 
trained a nurse to extract teeth and left a set of forceps and elevators.

7:00 a.m. on the day we were to leave
for Fig Tree Camp. Sheila and Dr. Bill were scheduled to treat one patient who could not see us the day before and ended up seeing six patients.

Those two guys in the doorway are Brad and Bill Williams. Our first clinic day in Olmekenyu the local people, who had had advance notice that we were coming, lined up for hours ahead of the start time of the clinic

attracted 30 patients one afternoon.
