Olmekenyu Hillside Academy  2005

Over

One of the Kipsigi girls who attend Hillside Academy in Olmekenyu

The children of Olmekenyu Hillside Academy are accompanied by Debbie Bashcomb and their teacher. you can see the ongoing construction of additional space for the boarding of students in the background.

Kitchen at the school is similar to that in all local homes

Rain in the afternoon was heavy. Buckets of rain fell as we toured the school to see what progress had been made since our last visit

Typical lunch for the boarded students

And the rains poured at Olmekenkyu Primary School right before the school assembly

Another of the students at this private academy

The library at Olmekenyu Primary School.  Books have been given each year and the results are notable from previous years.

I think she's offering Debbie some corn soup

The headmaster of the primary school shows Jennifer Davis around the principal's office

Happy children make learning easier.

The 10/40 Window is an area stretching from 10° to 40° north of the equator from West Africa to East Asia. Did you know that 90 percent of all unreached people groups live in this region of the world? The 10/40 Window is identified as having less than 2 percent of their populations as evangelical Christians.
