Over 800 students attend the Olmekenyu
Primary School. Here the children are lined up for an assembly
as we are entertained with song, oral presentations by the
teachers, and introductions by the headmaster. |

The 2005 view from
school, looking back down the valley back at the valley below
Olmekenyu. No town center existed prior to the
construction of Mercy Clinic. The clinic has spurred growth,
hope and jobs. As a matter of fact, the District Commissioner
called this region the "Forgotten People" because no
paved roads go into the area and not even dirt roads exist
past this school setting.

The 10/40 Window is an area stretching from 10° to 40° north of the equator from West Africa to East Asia. Did you
know that 90 percent of all unreached people groups live in this region of the world? The 10/40
Window is identified as having less than 2 percent of their populations as evangelical Christians.
