Dr. William's dental
practice provides comprehensive care for all ages and all dental needs.
We offer a full range of services, including thorough routine and preventive
care, oral cancer screening and biopsy,
laser dental care, advanced cosmetic procedures, orthodontics
including Invisalign, BriteSmile
tooth whitening, Implant dentistry, quality restorative and prosthodontic
dentistry including being certified in the Cerec
One-Visit Crown and Inlay System. With NO-Drill Air Brushing for cavities,
shots can often be eliminated for some patients.
Sedation (or sleep
dentistry as it is sometimes called, but not the same as I.V. sedation) with a pill offers our adult patients a
chance to complete the dentistry they need but may have put off due to dental
phobias, severe gagging, sensitive teeth or unusual time constraints. Often,
most of the work a person needs can be completed in just one or two
appointments. Our Anxiety Reduction Program
offers help for many who could not or would not take advantage of dental
services in the past. You can count on Atlanta sedation dentists, Dr. Williams,
Dr. Hayward and Dr. Smith to make your dental appointments more pleasant that
any you have experienced. Our Web Site:
The Pew Internet and American Life Project reports on what you want in a
doctor's web site. In summary, this 2003 report states that 80% of adult Internet users (93 million Americans) have searched for health information online. They search for health information at any time of the day or night, research a diagnosis or prescription and prepare for surgery or find out how best to recover from surgery (dentistry is a type of surgery).
When asked what is missing online, e-patients want to expand access to INFORMATION-LADEN sites, want more doctor-patient email, and more information on a doctor's background.
We feel that our web site is The Most Information-laden web site in dentistry.
We have email links throughout our site and Dr. Williams answers email
daily when possible. We have a full biography on each of our dentists (Dr.Williams,
Dr. Hayward, Dr. Smith and
Dr. Schwendiman )
available for you online.
OUR
APPROACH TO YOUR CARE
Four important principles form the basis of
our dental philosophy and practice.
#1
PERSONAL ATTENTION:
We take whatever time is
necessary to listen to your concerns and understand your needs. That is
the primary purpose of your first visit with Dr. Williams, Dr Smith and Dr. Hayward. Many of our
patients comment that they have never felt so understood or had such a
comprehensive exam as we routinely perform. We will design, together with
you, the perfect plan for your dental health.
#2 SERVICES
THAT YOU WANT:
Our dental care combines the recognized
procedures and equipment you expect in a dental practice with individualized
treatment. Various treatment options are considered before selecting the
best one based on a patient's needs. Neuromuscular diagnosis is critical in
complex cases. Smile analysis is the central part of cosmetic makeovers. Pulse
oximeters to measure pulse, blood pressure and oxygen content are the standard
of care in sedation dentistry. Lasers for
many dental surgeries are useful according to many dental educators. CEREC one appointment crowns and inlays are an important advancement
in dentistry. All these services are available at Suwanee Dental Care. #3
A CARING ATMOSPHERE:
You will immediately feel
welcomed by our warm and friendly team of dental professionals and dedicated
staff. We strive to allay your fears and reduce any discomfort. From the initial
interview with the doctor to the consultation with Angie and on into each
treatment session with Dr. Williams or Dr. Hayward, you will feel the difference. Patients
constantly rave about our "chair-side manner". You will have to
experience it to know what they mean.
Treating patients who have above average anxiety
and fear with sedation dentistry has opened the door
to dental health for the first time for many. There are over 5000 dentists in
Georgia but only 187 have obtained the training and Oral Sedation license in our
state. Dr. Williams, Dr. Smith and Dr. Hayward are among those 187 and
they wish for everyone
to know that dentistry does have a comfortable answer to what seems like
difficult situations.
Our use of low dose x-rays greatly minimizes your exposure. Air Abrasion and WaterLase
are both drill-less techniques at Suwanee Dental Care. Nitrous oxide or laughing
gas is available upon request, as are stereo headphones to block the noise
of the dental office. You will appreciate our special stress reduction
techniques and our special ability to work with fearful patients. We even
have a cure for hiccups!
and always,

What
do you want to know about us?
We're Gentle
Modern Dentistry is surprisingly
gentle. The main factor is taking time to be gentle and careful. We're
not under any constraints to rush through a certain quota of patients in
order to meet a "production" goal. We like to take our time, do a terrific
job on your teeth, and get to know you as a friend. And remember, you,
as the client, have the ultimate decision to choose to (1) do nothing,
(2) to do some of the dentistry we recommend, or (3) to complete all of
the fine dentistry that we feel is ideal for you. Our bottom line goal
is to help you look good, feel good, chew well and for your teeth to last
a lifetime.
